Quickremit can be used by an NRI (Non Resident Indian) to send money from his/her bank account in Singapore (SGD), Australia (AUD) and Canada (CAD) to a beneficiary in India. The remitter can also have the money sent to his/her own NRI account in India.
Yes. In order to use our services you must register with Quickremit. After you use Quickremit the first time, we will securely save your information. This information will not be shared or made available to anyone. The next time you use Quickremit you will not have to re-enter this information.

On the HDFC Bank website under NRI section, select Quickremit registration and complete a simple two page registration. The following details would be required:
Personal Details: Fill-in your demographic information of Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Citizenship and wherever applicable, unique Identification number as specified
Contact Details: Fill-in your complete address and contact number details in the overseas country of residence. It is essential to provide correct details and update them on a continuous basis so that we can reach you.
Other Details: You are required to set up a hint question and hint answer that will enable you to reset your password online in case you forget or your user ID gets disabled.
Upon providing the above details and accepting the terms and conditions and declaration that govern the use of the service, you get successfully registered for the service and can start using the facility for your money transfer needs
The Email ID you use for the online Quickremit registration is your user ID. You would be required to create a password when registering on Quickremit.
In case you have forgotten your password or entered incorrect password for login, after 3 successive incorrect attempts, your User ID will get disabled.
In such a case, use the Forgot Password or User ID Disabled link on the Quickremit login page and enter the required details as registered / updated by you on Quickremit, to generate your Temporary password. The Temporary password will be sent to your e-mail ID, as updated by you on Quickremit. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail to reset your password and login to your Quickremit account.
Quickremit service can be availed by any individual (NRI) for personal money transfer needs in India for 3 currencies (Australia – AUD, Singapore – SGD & Canada – CAD).
Neither you nor your beneficiary needs to be an HDFC Bank customer for availing the service.
With Quickremit, payment to a recipient can be issued through a demand draft which will be dispatched to your recipient in India.

Beneficiary addition is instant step and customer can book a transaction and select newly added beneficiary for sending money to his bank account.
When you choose confirmed exchange rates, the rate is confirmed or locked in at the time of transfer initiation. You need to specify the amount in Rupees that you want your recipient to receive.
When you choose indicative exchange rates, the rate is applied to your transaction will be as prevailing on the date and time of conversion of your money.
RTRN is a 10- digit Remitter Transaction Reference Number generated when you book a transaction on our website.
Yes. Even if you are sending money to the same beneficiary again, you must make a fresh request on Quickremit and enter the new RTRN (Remitter Transaction Reference Number) in your Internet banking account.
You can check the status of transaction by logging into your Quickremit account and visiting the “Status Tracker” link
Internet banking Trace Number is a Transaction ID generated by your bank while initiating funds from your source account to our correspondent bank account. In case your Bank does not provide the Transaction ID, you can update your remitting bank account number by visiting the "Status Tracker" link.

HDFC Bank Quickremit sends a series of email notifications informing you of the status of your transaction. The first email is sent shortly after you submit the transaction. Upon completion of the transaction, you will receive another email telling you that your recipient has received the funds.Place the email address email@example.com in your "safe sender's list" to be sure that these messages are not mistakenly directed to your junk or spam mail box.

After initiating a transaction on Quickremit, you can make an online transfer to HDFC Bank from your Singapore Bank account through the Fast Transfer option
All Customers remitting funds from Singapore are requested to enter the Quickremit 10-digit reference number (RTRN) and Amount of transaction in the Reference/Message/Note/Remarks field that needs to be inputted on the Singapore banks website while initiating the FAST payment.
If Remittance Reference No. generated is 1253789545 and the Amount is SGD100. Then please input 1253789545/SGD100 in the Customer Reference Number Field.
