On the HDFC Bank website under NRI section, select Quickremit registration and complete a simple two page registration. The following details would be required:
Personal Details: Fill-in your demographic information of Full Name, Gender, Date of Birth, Citizenship and wherever applicable, unique Identification number as specified
Contact Details: Fill-in your complete address and contact number details in the overseas country of residence. It is essential to provide correct details and update them on a continuous basis so that we can reach you.
Other Details: You are required to set up a hint question and hint answer that will enable you to reset your password online in case you forget or your user ID gets disabled.
Upon providing the above details and accepting the terms and conditions and declaration that govern the use of the service, you get successfully registered for the service and can start using the facility for your money transfer needs
The Email ID you use for the online Quickremit registration is your user ID. You would be required to create a password when registering on Quickremit.
In case you have forgotten your password or entered incorrect password for login, after 3 successive incorrect attempts, your User ID will get disabled.
In such a case, use the Forgot Password or User ID Disabled link on the Quickremit login page and enter the required details as registered / updated by you on Quickremit, to generate your Temporary password. The Temporary password will be sent to your e-mail ID, as updated by you on Quickremit. Follow the instructions provided in the e-mail to reset your password and login to your Quickremit account.
Quickremit service can be availed by any individual (NRI) for personal money transfer needs in India for Singapore. Neither you nor your beneficiary needs to be an HDFC Bank customer for availing the service.

RTRN is a 10- digit Remitter Transaction Reference Number generated when you book a transaction on our website.
Yes. Even if you are sending money to the same beneficiary again, you must make a fresh request on Quickremit and enter the new RTRN (Remitter Transaction Reference Number) in your Internet banking account.

Internet banking Trace Number is a Transaction ID generated by your bank while initiating funds from your source account to our correspondent bank account. In case your Bank does not provide the Transaction ID, you can update your remitting bank account number by visiting the "Status Tracker" link.

HDFC Bank Quickremit sends a series of email notifications informing you of the status of your transaction. The first email is sent shortly after you submit the transaction. Quickremit Online transfer is a completely online money transfer facility for remitters in Australia. Remitters having internet banking facility for their checking accounts with banks in Australia can use Online banking transfer. Additionally, only customers of banks offerings the following will be able to use this facility:
Online third-party funds transfers/payments on their Internet banking website and,
A "Remarks" or "Message to Recipient" field while making the online third-party transfer, to enter the Remitter transaction reference Number generated on Quickremit.
After booking a transaction on Quickremit, you can make an online transfer to HDFC Bank from your Local Bank account through the Pay Anyone option.
Quickremit gives you Westpac BSB number and unique account number for sending funds from your local bank account to HDFC Bank account along with unique Remittance Transaction Reference Number (RTRN) for your transaction, enabling you to track your remittance online.
035812 BSB Number is a unique 6 digit number assigned to HDFC Bank to receive fund from Australian local banks
"Pay Anyone" is an easy way to transfer money from your account with local bank to other accounts. You can transfer to any Australian financial institution (bank, building society, credit union). All you need is the BSB number, account number and account name of the recipient. Enter the details for fund transfer as follows:

Immediate payments/transfers submitted before 6.00pm Melbourne time on a bank business day are processed on that day.
Immediate payments/transfers submitted after 6.00pm Melbourne time or on weekends or public holidays are processed on the next bank business day.
For a regular Quickremit transaction, it will typically take 2 to 3 working days to credit an HDFC Bank account.
For Fixed Rupee Transfers, once you initiate the fund transfer and the funds are available to HDFC Bank in India for processing, within the validity date with complete and correct details, further processing is carried out and disbursed within 24 working hours.
If your beneficiary has an account with HDFC Bank, the money is directly transferred to the account within 1 working day of HDFC Bank receiving the money.
For electronic credit to non-HDFC Bank accounts or DDs, the money is sent for electronic clearing or a DD issued and dispatched in upto 8-10 additional working day.
Please note that the timeline excludes banking holidays and weekends in your country and India.
Validity Date is the date when the funds are available to HDFC Bank Limited, India for processing and disbursal to receiver. While initiating the Fixed Rupee Transfer request, you will be informed about the validity date of your transaction and you need to ensure that the funds are available to HDFC Bank for processing on or before this validity date.
IMPORTANT: Please note that only if the funds are received in our overseas correspondent bank account on working Day 0 before the cut-off time of overseas clearing, the same is typically available to HDFC Bank Limited, India, for processing on the next working day i.e. Day 1 The Validity date refers to the date of availability of funds to HDFC Bank Limited India for processing. In case the funds are not available to HDFC Bank India for processing within the validity date, your request will be processed as a regular request and the rate applicable at the date and time of conversion of your funds will be applied to your transaction. The confirmed rate will not be valid for Fixed Rupee Transfer requests where funds are available to HDFC Bank after the Validity Date.
